National coordination
Working across all levels of government is essential to good biosecurity.
The National Biosecurity Committee brings together responsible parties from:
- Australian Government departments
- state and territory governments
- industry and local government (observers)
They manage a national, strategic approach to biosecurity in Australia. A series of sub-committees also includes industry representatives.
